Stay implements income-generating programs with local African partner organizations for the poorest families in Uganda and Kenya. Training, materials and market access enable smallholder families to generate their own income on a sustainable basis. Every donation made as part of the #stayrider’s tour benefits Stay. All costs of the tour are borne by the #stayrider himself. The donations are primarily used to finance the training of small farmers in Kenya. In case of overfunding, the donations are available for Stay’s other projects and programs, especially in Uganda.
